Instrument tees

garments throughout: the plates carry a cream ground that would print as a visible block

Beyond the shirts
Prints, pins and the rest of the catalogue
Every image here is the family’s own artwork. Four
Cheikh Anta Diop plates, the university, the backing vocalists, the Kankurang in
the street, the djembe-and-ngoni pair, and the four band role badges — artwork the
shop was holding and not selling. Sold as prints and pins, because these are pictures,
and a mural belongs on a wall rather than a keychain.

The kora travels across the Mandé world, and so does the family name —
Suso in Gambia, Sissoko and Cissokho in Senegal and Mali, Sisoco in Guinea-Bissau. One

The welcome kit
Ships automatically when somebody pre-reserves. Not a gift — the warm-up. Twelve
months is a long time to hold a booking on faith, and a box arriving in week one turns
an invisible line on a card statement into an object on a shelf.
One shirt, and the rest are small things. The kit contains a single
tee — the 2027 loading one — plus a cap, a mug, a tote bag, a
notebook, a keychain, a sticker sheet and a pin badge. The Class of 2027 shirt is
the second shirt and it is not in the box: it is handed over on the last night of
the camp, after the final showcase, because a shirt saying Class of 2027 given out a year
early means nothing.

Apparel and merch are made to order and typically ship within 2–5 business days. Instruments are handmade to order; the estimated timeline is shown on each instrument’s page before checkout.
+Do you ship internationally?
Yes — both the merch storefront and the instrument shop ship worldwide. International orders may attract customs fees set by your own country, which are not included at checkout.
+What is the return policy?
Apparel and merch can be returned unworn within 30 days. Handmade instruments are assessed case by case — write to customer service before shipping anything back.
+What does a Kora Camp week include?
Lodging, three meals a day, airport transfers, the masterclass schedule, the dance, oral history and cooking sessions, the excursions, and the final showcase.
